Supercritical case. In Figure 4, we compare between the numerical solution of system (1.3) and the weakly nonlinear first order approximation of the solution under supercritical circumstance. Here the parameters are chosen as in Figure 3 except that \(b=1.01b^{c}=0.7647\). The spatial domain is taken as \(L_{x}=9\pi\), \(L_{y}=8\pi\).
